Selling Negatives from Past Photo Sessions
Happy Monday! I usually tell my clients that I will hold on to their "proofs" for about 6 months...but I've kept most of my negatives from film and digital images the entire time I've been in business since 2002! I have to start eliminating because not only do all of the negatives take up quite a bit of physical space in my office, but I also keep buying more hard drives to store my digital images as well. So this month I am going to be destroying my negatives from my 35mm film photo sessions that took place from 2002-2007. I switched over to digital photography in 2007-2008 and eventually I will start eliminating my digital images as well.
If you held a photo session with me from 2002-2007 and would like to purchase your negatives/copyright release, please call or email me. These negatives only will be sold at a very low rate of $50.00 per session. If you held multiple sessions with me during those years, I will discount it a little more for each session. I will be destroying all negatives by the end of this month so this will be your last chance to get prints from those sessions. I am going to do my best to contact everyone either by phone or email (if I have your current contact information) to also let them know this information, but I know I will not get hold of everyone.
Here are a couple images from my film photo shoots many years back....seems so long ago, but still fresh in my mind.
